So, what wine goes with Independence Day? Well, a sparkling wine from California, of course! We have three of beautiful great names to look for when buying sparklies to go with your sparklers.

  • Roederer Estate. Champagne house Louis Roederer established this California outpost in 1982, and its tête de cuvée, L’Ermitage, has impressed since its debut with the 1989 vintage.

  • Schramsberg. One of the best skill to possess in winemaking is experience, and Schramsberg has well over 50 years of sparkling wines. The Davies family and Schramsberg team have focused on creating wines that reflect their history and passion with every cork that is popped.

  • Gloria Ferrer. With over 355 acres of estate vineyards at their fingertips, and expertise in the art of blending, Gloria Ferrer offers a blend between Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, offering an infusion of zesty lemon with superb structure.

And for pairing, go for potato chips. Actually, sparkling is perfect with many things, from spicy foods to salty snacks. But this experience may be had with anything bubbly, which is why you can enjoy your hot dog and chips with beer, sparkling water, or sparkling wine.
