What real estate agents do in their "Spare Time"...

What do we do in our spare time that helps us do our jobs as real estate agents?

When anyone asks us or any other agent that, we always have a little giggle because there is very little time to spare when you work as a real estate agent.

Every day is spent working either in our business or on our business. When we are working IN our business, we are out with clients for showings, we are working up listings, writing and negotiating offers, researching home values to make sure homes are priced right, and advising and helping our clients.

When we are working ON our business, we are doing everything that any other small business does. We are, after all small business owners. We are marketing ourselves, performing lead generation activities, doing accounting and bookkeeping, and doing things that let our clients know that we appreciate them. Because we are licensed by the State of California, we also have continuing education obligations (both learning and teaching) to keep current in our profession.

Real estate never sleeps, but when we manage our time well, we do get out and enjoy time with our families and the great city that we live in.

Our diverse team is great because we can pool our findings and bring you ideas and advice from a broad perspective. We explore the neighborhoods that we live in and service. We check out parks, restaurants, shops...anything that we can experience in order to learn about what's going on in our city's neighborhoods.

We make time with our families and go to sporting events, volunteer with various charitable causes, and do fundraising. We play tennis, golf, and explore in general...we like to call these 'field trips' just like we did in elementary school.

When we throw parties, we learn about caterers, musicians, DJs; when we need to do our own home improvement or maintenance, we find great contractors or a clever hack for getting the job done.

We never stop thinking about real estate and how we can help our clients. Everything we do helps us match you with not only the house, but the neighborhood and lifestyle you want.
